Aspen Ladd

Aspen Ladd first began training in combat sports when she was 14 years old. She was a kickboxer, boxer and wrestling before she made her debut appearance as an amateur at WCFC in front of Jaimee Nievera. Ladd was able to beat three times consecutively at Ultimate Reno Combat. All of the opponents she defeated were finished within the first few minutes. After that, she went to WCFC again and beat Leslie Rodriguez in a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia outclassed Aspen and beat her in a unanimity to create a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd rebounded from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight-1. Aspen became a professional in 2015. She signed up with Invicta FC and made her debut. Aspen fought Ana Carolina Vidal at Invicta FC 11 and dominated her in the first round to win a TKO. Invicta took on her in the Bantamweight division and prevailed via armbar submission in the second round. Aspen utilized the skills she had learned in wrestling to beat McGill. She won the fight with a the TKO (3rd round) (elbows and punches). Aspen then went on to take on Jessica Hoy for Invicta FC18 with a weight that was 138.1lb. Ladd was not in a position to make it, however Aspen was victorious and defeated Hoy by TKO. In her last fight for the promotion, she beat Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd was the first UFC fighter to debut. She took on Linalansberg in UFC Fight Night 118. She was a step ahead of Lina and ground-and-pounded her for a second-round TKO victory. In her second fight, she defeated Tonya Evinger with a more stunning victory. Ladd beat Evinger by a punch in the first round and was awarded the Performance of the Night bonus. Invicta FC, a rematch of UFC Fight Night dos Anjos and Lee, she fought Sijara-Eubanks to win her first major fight. Both the fighters put on an intense battle that concluded with Ladd triumphing via a unanimous decision and each fighter received their Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie was able to finish the fight in just 16 seconds and stop Ladd and her winning streak. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the 3rd round at UFC 7.7 on ESPN. As a last-minute replacement to her UFC fight, she took on Norma Dumont during UFC Fight Night 195. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
